Oceanbridge is a premier freight logistics provider serving New Zealand and international customers since 1981. Although Oceanbridge had seen year on year growth, competition had also risen dramatically both locally and internationally. To remain relevant to their customer base and compete with international logistics giants they initiated a rebrand of their corporate identity and communication collateral. The challenge lay in creating a differentiated brand position, with hundreds of logistics firms operating in the New Zealand market alone. A number of phases from industry research to competitive analysis and brand mapping were completed. The result – a brand strategy that found expression as a campaignable brand slogan and a rallying internal catchcry – ‘Go Global’. Design followed with use of tessellating patterns that evoke the strength and flexibility of the Oceanbridge global network, bespoke typeface design and animation to lift the brand value of presentations and tender documents.
